Birchwood News
This page is the central location for all news updates. Urgent messages, such as school trip information and emergency school closures, will be displayed in a green “Stop Press” panel.
We have two main RSS news feeds -
one for general school news, such as the availability of new online reports,
while the other is specifically for school trips. See below for full details.

RSS Feeds
An RSS news feed allows us to send you the latest news regarding the online reporting system, school events, trips and visits and more. The service is provided by Google's FeedBurner and you can choose to have the information sent to you via e-mail, using your favourite news feed reader or on your Internet service provider's home page.
Many mobile phones allow you to access RSS news feeds - just look for the RSS logo (as above).
The subscription section at the bottom of the news feed panels will allow you to register for either feed. We recommend that all parents register for the general news feed (left-hand column). The trips news feed is designed for use when you have a child taking part on one of the trips listed on the right.
