Online Reporting 2011/12

The Online Reporting year begins on Friday 4 November with the first Interims for years 11 to 13. We ask all parents to use their own accounts to view Interims rather than their children's, as we are adding more features to the system specifically for parents.

If you are a parent/carer of a student in year 7 or 8, please log in to the reporting system to view the first Interim reports of the academic year. If you need to be reminded of your password or have it reset, please contact the Online Reporting System Manager using the Contact Us form on the main school website.

Five-Star Catering at Birchwood!

Congratulations to Mrs Bannington and her dedicated team in the school canteen. The Birchwood Canteen has been awarded the highest possible rating under the East Herts Council's Food Hygiene 'Scores on the Doors' scheme.

GCSE Results 2010

The headline figure of 71% 5*A*-C (5+ A*-C including English and Maths 61%) was similar to last year but the percentage achieving the top grades (A/A*) increased from 15% to 25%. Our highest-performing students include Callum Tozer (7A*/2A), Geoffrey Douglas (5A*/3A), Joe Francis (4A*/5A) and Amber King (4A*/4A).

Birchwood's Best-Ever A2 Results!

Our Year 13 students achieved Birchwood's best-ever A2 results on 19 August, with a 99% A-E pass rate (43% A/B pass rate) and an average point score of 220. Of note, individual students achieving top A level grades were: Aws Sadik (5A*), Andy Brown (2A* and 2A), Jonathan Pettinger (2A* and 2A), Abigail Andrews (3A) and Emma Caroll (3A). Well done to all our students!
