Testimonials from staff who joined this year

“The staff and the faculty have always gone above and beyond when helping me settle in. They want me to succeed as much as I do and will make time in order to help, whether this is teaching based or just for my own morale.”

NQT

“I am really enjoying my time at Birchwood, mostly because everyone has been really welcoming and friendly. I have been given so much CPD support and everyone is always willing to answer questions, which is especially great as an NQT. The staff well-being is excellent, which means I have the work-life balance I didn’t expect!”

NQT

“Since arriving last year I have been hugely supported with CPD; there is no way I would be doing a Masters if it wasn’t for the support I’ve had.”

Head of Department

“As a teacher at Birchwood, I have been made to feel welcome and valued as part of the team. Birchwood has the feeling of a very large family with committed and engaging students and supportive, friendly staff.”

Teacher
