In the BBC (Birchwood Broadcasting Correspondents) Reporters Club, teachers help develop student’s journalistic skills to become School Reporters, so they can report on the stories that matter to them and make their voices heard.

Reporters research and produce their own news reports on interesting things happening in the school and local area. Their reports are then published into our school newspaper “Birchwood News”.

Since taking part in the original BBC School Report event in March 2016, our team of reporters has continued the initiative and formed the popular Birchwood Broadcasting Correspondents Reporters Club.
